Well, I'm kinda regretting doing that locomotive replacement work I did on PRR-East, because I've found a rather serious problem.

I've replaced the NALW GG1s with the BLLW Dick Cowen-Based GG1s, and well, they refuse to move. The pantos are up, brakes released, and reverser set to forward...nothing happens.

The interior sounds also don't seem to load, at all. Don't understand that one either.

Could someone please advise?

Just guessing, but You DID release both the train brake AND the independent?

Yes, I did. And considering the power of these machines, one of these would've easily overpowered the independent brakes.

Attaching the OpenRailsLog.txt file would probably be a help.

Attached File  OpenRailsLog.txt (53.42K)
Number of downloads: 316

Log file attached. Forgive the irregularities, I was fiddling with the throttle.

Thanks.
I reviewed the log.Nothing jumps out at me but I'll wait for a 'real' programmer to reply to the "Warning: System.InvalidOperationException: Category does not exist." message.

Have you opened the F5 HUD Brake Display while in the engine?
Have you tried the Inialtize Brakes Command, SHIFT + / keys?A screen shot of the HUD at time of failure may be of help here.

regards,vince

A change that was applied recently has unintentionally restricted the number of sounds that can be played to 62. It's probably better to go back to an OR version earlier than 6 Apr until the fix for this problem can be applied.

This isn't serious, it's due to attempting to access some system info for logging which is either not available or not accessible.
