Installation of .Net Framework 4.7.2 failed (SOLVED) Rate Topic: -----

With the latest OpenRails version .Net Framework 4.7.2 is mandatory.
I believed to have .Net Framework 4.7.2 installed, instead I had only .Net Framework 4.7.1 on my Win7 SP1 32 bit.
When trying to install, I get following messages in the installation logfile:

do you have any proxy software like Fiddler etc running/installed on the machine?
This message "Unable to retrieve Proxy information although WinHttpGetIEProxyConfigForCurrentUser called succeeded" is indicating some issue with proxy config detection.
Maybe turning off automatic proxy detection in IE does help. Else worth double checking firewall software for obscure/tweaked traffic flow, also given the offline installer worked fine I'd suspect a connectivity issue.

On a side note for anyone reading the topic and getting scared of newer OR version - .NET 4.7.2 is part of the regular upgrades of all currently supported Windows OS versions (7 SP1, 8.1, Win 10), so as long Windows Update is up to date, the correct Framework version should be installed already.
