I don't know, I suppose the second one is more "official" than the first one? I will have a look on it, thank you.

This gets more and more confusing. When will we have one version which includes all of these wonderful features?

When I look at the Builds download site, I notice that the latest builds being released are the unstable builds. Are these builds perpetualKid's release or are they the standard XNA release? Further down the list, you have the experimental builds which were last updated about 2 months ago. What is the source of these builds?
Edit: Is .NET 4.8 suppose to be the primary version for any of the new builds?

Thanks, James.
Yes, I do want MonoGame as I heard it might accommodate larger models than classic XNA.
P.S. Just realised I've edited your post instead of editing my reply to your post and can't recover. Sorry about that. Guess I've just abused my privileges :-( cjakeman

Currently, if you absolutely want MonoGame, you'll have to get Carlo's or perpetualKid's unofficial versions.

Perhaps a bit philosophical question:
What actually prevents the merging of the standard version of OR with the MonoGame version?
Isn't it a bit of a luxury and a fragmentation effort when there are two separate branches?
I'm not a developer, maybe I misunderstood something.

Hi Lamplighter,
the (unofficial) OR NewYear MG version includes the official Unstable OR version; in fact, the official Unstable OR version is periodically merged into OR NewYear MG.
The inclusion of MonoGame (I'm speaking of Monogame only, and not of the further features present in OR NewYear MG and Ultimate) into the official Unstable and Testing versions is a work in progress by James Ross.
It may be expected that some of such further features (like true 64-bit operation and native Raildriver setting support) will be included in the official versions once MonoGame is included, because MonoGame is a prerequisite for them.
Some other of such features (like e.g. optional watchdog disabling) are not foreseen to be included within the official OR versions, because they are not accepted there for various reasons.
