i have generated a new sub-revision, that is 46.2, which can be downloaded from the usual link.
The thread safety problem is now managed with couples of try-catch.
hugoaktio, when you have time could you please download such sub-revision and check if your problem of disappearing sounds has been disappeared? (no pun intended...)

Had several tests today. Unfortunately the problem persists.

Hi hugoaiko,
that's quite strange to me, unless... when you say that the "regular" OR version works OK, are you meaning the testing or the unstable version? If you are meaning the testing version, could you check what occurs with the actual unstable version?

Sure, I will teste the actual unstable version tonight. Now I'm using the X1.3.1-33-g23177665 2019-03-13 21:29:17 and the rev.45 of MG without any problems.

Rel. 47 of OR NewYear MG is available as always here http://www.interazio..._NewYear_MG.zip .
It is aligned with unstable rel. U2020.01.01-1751 (which is the most recent as of now) of the official OR, which does include Monogame. To see what the official unstable release includes, check here https://james-ross.c...&utm_medium=app

The list of additional features to such unstable release present in OR NewYear MG is as follows:

- addition of track sounds in the sound debug window (by dennisat)
- F5 HUD scrolling by mbm_OR (with improvement requested by steamer_ctn)
- checkbox in General Options tab to enable or disable watchdog
- increase of remote horn sound volume level
- when car is selected through the F9 window, the car's brake line in the extended brake HUD is highlighted in yellow, see here http://www.elvastowe...post__p__248023 (by mbm_or)
- improved distance management in roadcar camera
- signal script parser (by perpetualKid): reduces CPU time needed for signal management
- true optional 64-bit management, allowing to use more than 4 GB of memory, if available, in Win64 systems (by perpetualKid, with some small tailoring by myself)
- general options checkbox for optional run at 32 bit on Win64 (to avoid slight train shaking bug)
- added translatable Train Driving Info window (see http://www.elvastowe...post__p__251671 and following posts), by mbm_OR
- Train Driving Info window may be translated in other languages (done for Italian), by mbm_OR
- 32bit running set as default, to avoid 64 bit shakings and flickerings
- inserted extended Raildriver setup, as present in OR Ultimate (by perpetualKid)
- set Simple Control and Physics option as default

Various bug fixes have been introduced in parallel to the unstable release.

When running on Win64, if the player privileges having more than 4GB of memory available, he will uncheck the related option checkbox; if instead he prefers to avoid unneeded train shaking, he will check the box (which is default) and will have only a maximum of 4GB memory available. In this second case RunActivity32.exe is run. Note that this hopefully is only a temporary solution.
Note for developers: Runactivity32.exe is not generated by building the pack, but manually doing a copy of Runactivity.exe, renaming it Runactivity32.exe, and using on the Developer Command Prompt command corflags with the modifier -32BITPREF+

NOTE: ReShade 4.3.0 or older must be used. ReShade 4.4.2 doesn't work here. See here http://www.elvastowe...mg-and-reshade/ for an installation guide of ReShade.

When running on Win64, if you are running OR at 64 bit (option not checked) you must point ReShade to OpenRails64.exe; if you are running OR at 32 bit (option checked) you must point ReShade to OpenRails.exe.

It is suggested to unpack the .zip using 7zip, if other unpackers lead to problems.

Release 45 can still be downloaded from here http://interazioni-e...G_oldrecent.zip .

- NEW: reverted deletion of code line, because throttle level didn't work any more
- NEW: inserted bug fix for scripts not working (signalled by Stijn).

Various bug fixes have been introduced in parallel to the unstable release.

When running on Win64, the player can select if he prefers running at 64 bit or 32 bit. In this second case RunActivity32.exe is run, and only a maximum of 4 GB of RAM can be accessed by OR.
Note for developers: Runactivity32.exe is not generated by building the pack, but manually doing a copy of Runactivity.exe, renaming it Runactivity32.exe, and using on the Developer Command Prompt command corflags with the modifier -32BITPREF+

NOTE: ReShade 4.3.0 or older or ReShade 4.5.2 must be used, or ReShade 4.5.2.

Revision 48.1 is out, at the usual address.
The issue of the zig-zag track layout in TrackViewer when running at 64 bit has been solved, applying the changes made by perpetualKid.

Well, today is a magic day. I just uploaded Rev 48.2, which solves also:
- issue of zig-zag red train path drawing in Dispatch Viewer
- issue of shaking trains when running at true 64 bit

If you want to run at true 64 bit, remember to uncheck the general option "Run at 64 bit on Win64".

Carlo,

I have not checked this in a release past 45, but I did discover what might be a glitch in the F9 screen. When I run an activity that has a player train starting the activity at a speed greater than 0 mph and the throttle open past idle--for example, say, at 25% power, and I toggle the MU connection on a trailing locomotive later in the activity, that loco's throttle setting goes to what the throttle opening was at the beginning of the activity--in my example, 25%. The throttle setting on an isolated locomotive should always return to idle. (In prototypical operation, this is a safety feature to assure that an MU'ed locomotive will return to idle if the MU connection is severed for any reason.) In OR, reconnecting the cable, the trailing locomotive setting will then go back to whatever the controlling locomotive setting is. I'm not certain how long this "glitch" has been present, but I discovered it yesterday when running an activity where "isolating" a locomotive in the consist was necessary. Thanks for looking into this and a big THANKS for all then neat MG improvements!!!!
