Just tested each version moving backwards - v6955 is the last version that numpad arrows or any other arrows work on static objects for me. Is there anyone else that experienced these kind of symptoms???

Running Win7 SP1 + latest updates. Until Goku suggests some course of action I will be staying with the functionality at that release.

It's not you.

You can select things and drag them around with the mouse. I havn't found a way to rotate things, but then I havn't really looked hard to find it.

If you press R and then click-drag, you should be able to rotate an object

Running v0.6958 & v0.6963 (x-rel) without problems. My NumLock must be on for the arrows to be active.

I can select an obj (tree) and drag around terrain. Then hold Shift while dragging and obj will rotate around the Y axis.

NumPad 4-6, 2-8 & 3-9 in rotate mode will rotate the object around all 3 axis'. 4-6 is Y
.
You'll have to figure out yourself which of the 2-8 & 3-9 are associated with X or Z axis rotation as I never was curious, just that the rotation worked and is a great help in setting scenery.

Hope you get it sorted out.

vince
