I have uploaded a new OR MG release, which can be downloaded here http://www.interazio....3.1Xmas_MG.zip .
It is based on OR 1.3.1 (x.4328) and a development version of Monogame later than release 3.7.
It has the additional functions which were available in the OR 1.3E MG release, that is
- possibility to scroll in the four directions the HUD, when it exceeds the OR window dimensions
- addition of track sounds in the sound debug window
- change of the font family and dimension for the digital displays in 2D cabs

plus the first release of a new trainspotter camera, activated with Shift-4 . This camera places itself at railroad crossings and platforms if there is one nearby, when the player train runs by; if no railroad crossing or platform is there, it behaves as the standard camera 4, up to next railroad crossing or platform. Re platforms the route should have the platforms defined at the correct side of the track to get the good effect...
A Readme_OR1.3.1Xmas_MG.txt is included in the pack.

The still rough source patch (which is of interest only for developers) for the new trainspotter camera is attached here
Attached File  LevelCrossingPlatformCamera_6_OK.zip (4.91K)
Number of downloads: 265

Comments on the new camera welcome.

Carlo,

Cool idea for the camera. But I have one question: How far ahead does the camera look for crossings, etc? I use the free-roam camera regularly to check crossing signal timing set-ups and am curious to see if it might work for that

Hi Carlo! The file runactivity.exe seems to be missing when I downloaded this. A windows error generated about missing files, after the start button pressed in menu.
I copied and pasted a runactivity.exe from your mg4222 into the mg131, and now works ok. Sorry if I diid something wrong!
Many thanks for your continued support for MG versions
rick
edit :post in haste repent at leisure!
I can`t find F6 car labels .F6 now gives the switch window. F7 station platform labels. f8 train operations F9 next station. As if the Function keys are shifted by 1. confusing!
This in timetable mode. I can`t see any (new!) errors in the log

Hi rickloader,
Runactivity.exe is in the pack. I assume that either your antivirus or your Windows deleted such file, considering it suspect (which it is not). This has occurred once also to me.
If you use another runactivity you won't have the new function.

Thanks Carlo, you were right , an anti virus problem. I told Avast twice I trusted the runactivity, but it deleted it all the same! Third time it has accepted it. Sorry to have troubled you and thanks again

Thank you very Much Carlo

I‘m new woth the Monogame so just to know the TCS Scripting is still the same right?

And How about Multiplayer? Is the MG compatible with the standart XNA Based OR?

But still lovely!

Hi Citarofahrer,
the OR MG version is functionally compatible with the standard OR version, that is scripting and multiplayer work as in the standard version.

EDIT: nevermind. I followed my convention of replacing the "content" folder as soon as I download the latest release because I don't like the default skydome. This time, I just replaced the offending image.
