I just added a new patch and it is massively magnified. Other patches on the same tile are fine and just across the border on the next tile it appears correctly.

Now what do I do???

Thanks,

Steve

Further weirdness, When I place the patch in the MSTS RE and save, it looks fine in TSRE5, but place it either from the texture select or by copying in TSRE5, it goes on magnified.

Could this have to do with the map layers?

Well, I haven't figured out how to truly solve the problem, but there's a usable work around. As long as I go into MSTS editor and place any basic terrtex over the mapped area and save, I can then place any size patch in TSRE5 and it appears correctly. So, the issue seems to be with the underlying map layer in TSRE5. I don't know how it was added, as I received the basic terrain from another person.

Hi Steve
I wonder if you have somehow got a hole in your terrain, and the expanded patch is actually being applied to a distant mountain terrain through this hole.
Try going to Settings/Terrain Editing/Distant Terrain.
This should make your detailed terrain disappear from view and reveal any distant terrain behind it. As the squares on the distant terrain are bigger than those in detailed terrain any terrtex patch will appear magnified here.

Perhaps you should select the patch and examine what the properties window has to say about it. IIRC Goku did add a scaling factor.
