I do not think that that is a reasonable comment.

My intention is not to satisfy myself but to make activities utilising reverse points readily and easily usable by all users.

Well David,
I would think my suggestion regarding User choice from among a multiple set of "TrackMonitorImages.png" would be welcome. No apologies forthcoming for the comment, meant tongue-in-cheek and as a description of the human condition. Don't take it too seriously.
Best Regards, Gerry

No problem Gerry. I just felt that I needed to make my point again.

I think the crux of the issue is the white reverse point arrow being almost completely hidden by the yellow train ahead indicator rectangle. I do not see that and alternative set of colours in "TrackMonitorImages.png" would achieve this, but perhaps I am wrong.

I can't agree with you on this - I think there's a good chance they would solve the problem, if the colors provided "color contrast".

Perhaps, the alignment of the objects when presented to the user should be adjusted, that may fill the need you see.
Another approach would be to have a selection of different colored objects, so the users could "make-up" their own Track Window png to suit their tastes or requirements.

I have not a clue how that would be coded.Perhaps, someone with the time and proper talent would make up a set of Track Window pngs....Any Takers?

My reasoning is that if they are all solid colours and the arrow is drawn before the rectangle, it will never be fully seen, whatever colour they both are.

See my post#33, I was editing post when you were posting...we probably agree on this, although. honestly, the condition you have described has never impaired my use of the simulator.Well you've got a Trello card, other people will read the posts....we'll see. And no...I'm not going to quote Mick again. http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

Hi David,

Try this new code to avoid that the reversal icon gets under the train icon.
Also it works for switch indications (Carlo's suggestion).

The reverse point arrow is now displayed on top of the yellow train ahead indicator and can be clearly seen.

Thank you Mauricio. Will this now be "committed"?
