We're nearing the Open Rails 1.3 release, so I'd like to ask for help with testing: from Saturday 22nd September, please download and test the Testing build. No new features will be added after this point.

While testing, report any problems in these forums or as bugs - and, if you can, identify the scale of the issue found, e.g. does it affect all content, or just this one trainset? We'll need to understand the scope to know whether it is worth holding back the release or not.

Here's the full timeline:

• Friday 21st September - end of feature completion work: all new features and other large changes to be completed and committed by the time the Testing build is created (6pm UK time)
  
• Saturday 22nd September - start of testing: everyone begins testing the build from Friday 21st, reporting and fixing bugs
  
• Friday 5th October - end of testing
  
• Monday 8th October - earliest release date, will be delayed until any serious bugs are fixed

Are there any minimum specs for a pc to run the software? Do I need any special graphics card?

The minimum and recommended specs are the same as the current and previous versions, which are listed on the Open Rails website download page.
