I don't know if this has been discussed before, but when I stop at a station (if it's on a gradient), the engine (or thee whole train) would roll back a bit, & the next station would be counted as being a stop, even when the train hasn't arrived at that station (e.g. I stop at Mt. Harris, the engine moves back a couple feet, & the next stop- Steamboat Springs- would be counted as a stop when I'm still at the Mt. Harris stop- see picture 2). Also, while I always have the "forced red on station stop" option selected, the signal at the junction to Colorado Ute changes the signals in the Mt. Harris area (see picture 1).

Here is the activity that has the issue with the stop at Mt. Harris, along with the consists. You need all of the D&SL rolling stock to run this activity.

Hi all

Seems to be now a generalized problem. I.e. happens also in route "Val de Travers", Activity "VVT Extrafahrt nach Neuchatel".

Happens in Activities where some movements (Starts, Stops) are before Station arrivals and departures.

Going back to X4114 resolves that problem. Perhaps a bug?

hope it helps for the moment.

Ernst

Hi all

Noted an additional problem. Engines do not start with autopilot, only manual.

I'm installing the route. Where can I download the activity?

I attached the zip file (which has the activity, consists & service files) in post #2 of this thread. And all of the rolling stock (including dsl_c1.zip & dsl_p1.zip) needs to be installed.

The issue with the station stops could very well be one issue, but there is another issue which could be only involving steam locomotives. I was testing a steam locomotive with its tender and no cars. I clearly noticed a rocking movement on level track. I am not sure, but it may be involving the tender. I will test with a diesel locomotive and car to see if this still takes place.

Edit: There is a movement issue, but its hard to say if its only involving the steam locomotive. In one situation, I notice a locomotive with cars slide back a little when I just entered explore mode. I will test X4114 to see if this is still the case.

This will have to be tested carefully since at the start of an activity or explore mode, the train brakes are not set. But, this would not explain the tender actually rolling forward a bit then back using the latest release.

Hope that it works

Found now that it happens also with Diesel-Loks.

Using the Val-de-Travers route I found a first bug, that I corrected in x.4194. This for sure solves some cases, but could not yet solve all of them.
