The goose continues it's trip to the first stop. The motorman is named Craig for this trip.
Tom, the heater is on to keep the motorman & the passengers warm.
Tim, it's also hot over here in Umatilla county, along with that smoke from those fires (it was very thick yesterday; & a lot better today- visibility wise).

The goose stops at Bilk for transfer, & leaves there (Bilk) at 11:08 AM with 3,500 pounds of mail, & 3 paying passengers. This goose passes Vance Junction, where Extra 455* was waiting for the goose to pass.
*This train left Telluride at 10:25 AM. This train pulls into Placerville at 12:20 PM with 6 loads, loaded 2 cars stock, received a helper (#20), & pulls into Ridgway at 4:10 PM with 8 loads, 1 empty; the helper was already in Ridgeway then the freight got to town.
