Navigation withing the forums on this site has become very slow. I do not think it is my computer as forums elsewhere do no have such a problem.

On a 'smart' phone in Central Minnesota, it's working fine, almost better than normal

Still the same for me. This site is several times slower (double-digits) than other sites including UKTS and TrainSim.com. I have cleared my Firefox cache which made no difference. I have a powerful system.

Middle of the Mohave Desert Cox cable instant access. Dave, your IP provider would be the first place to suspect.

So why is this problem only one of the twenty or more forum boards I regularly access?

I suspect that you have been routed through a suspect node on the internet that is causing the slowdown in page display. I occasionally get the same when I go to the Trainsim.com site. I am usually stuck with it for a few days before the net routes me a different way. A trace route will show the node because the ping back from that node is high ( slow response ).

I had the same problem 2 days ago. Very sluggish response. Now everything is back to normal.

Looking back at dates, my problem started following a Windows 10 update earlier this month. There has been an update (correction) to that Windows 10 update today and the slowness is gone.
