Is there any other way to see a detailed list of upgrades?

It's the same as the SVN commit log - see Contribute - Developing Code

Here's the SVN log for August:

Chris, thanks for the list but how can I view an up-to-date version of this whenever I want to?

Yes,this needs sorting,it's been happening for over a week now and the log is important,we need to know what changes have been made.

I wish it were that easy.

I've had a look at the problem at my end, and it is as I feared: an internet routing problem. This means that there is probably nothing I can do to fix it, as the place on the internet that my server lives does not have a working connection to the place on the internet that UKTrainSim lives.

traceroute to svn.uktrainsim.com (87.237.69.235), 30 hops max, 60 byte packets
 1 hv301.nl1.bhost.net (185.47.60.3) 0.032 ms 0.015 ms 0.010 ms
 2 v503.core1.ams1.he.net (216.66.80.189) 42.696 ms 42.938 ms 42.913 ms
 3 100ge16-1.core1.lon2.he.net (72.52.92.213) 17.802 ms 54.260 ms 54.327 ms

10 * * *
11 * * *

14 * * *

I've had a look into the internet backbone connections and, annoyingly, I can't see any problems - it looks like the last node (100ge16-1.core1.lon2.he.net, which is AS6939 in internet backbone-speak) in the route above should be connected to the next node (sv167.lon-thn1.hns.net, AS39537) needed to get to UKTrainSim. You can see the list of connections to that next node on this BGP (internet routing system) page, which lists AS6939 in the 3rd spot.

I've also done a traceroute using https://lg.he.net/ from their default "Hurricane Electric Fremont 1" node to "svn.uktrainsim.com" and that gets through, using "100ge16-2.core1.lon2.he.net" instead of "100ge16-1.core1.lon2.he.net" as my route did. So the connection between AS6939 and AS39537 is there and can work, but maybe the node it puts my route through is broken?

While this is all very interesting to look at, it is so far removed from anything I can fix or even influence. This is a problem with the Internet and I don't see an obvious way around it for me. :(

Fair enough James. Thank you for your efforts in seeking the cause, even though it seems the solution is out of your hands.

dforrest, there is a way of viewing the new builds for Open Rails. Go to the Open Rails website, click on the "download" tab, & click on the "changes" so that the recent builds could be seen.

The official website lists changes in the testing version, so only updated once a week on Fridays.
