Is possible somehow override 0.75 factor of outside sounds? For example if I run consist with GE locomotive leading, and EMD as MU (second unit), EMD sound is too loud inside cabview. Also (my opinion) sounds of cars within consist is too loud for me. Basically, I would like not to hear outside sounds of player's consist. AI trains sound volume is good and I would like to stay as is for now in ORTS.

Go to Audio Options and modify "% external sound heard internally".

I find 20% to be much more reasonable. Of course, most route and other sounds are way too loud from the get-go.

I just looked, did not remember what the setting was...found 25%, which is sometimes too loud for me...I'm going with Ericks 20%.

I've been using latest stable version so I couldn't find that option. What's the version implemented external sound heard internally option? Or can I do something with source code or simmilar?

You must use the latest testing or experimental version to have that option.
