Is there any plans to offer IR tracking in ORTS anytime in the near future? Second, can the camera views have options to stick them to the terrain so they don't go below rail height which results in a reset to the cabview?

Hi Robert,
I've recently been given a wireless EdTracker which is not Infra red and cameras but magnetic. It outputs 3 degrees of freedom and I want to use it to steer the Open Rails camera.
Not spent much time on it yet (more urgent OR work is pressing) but I am hopeful.
Does that help?

IR tracking for me means ORTS camera follows the train as it does in MSTS when in the outside view 4 runby. The other issue that really bugs me is the camera is fixed to the front of the train instead of the center of the object. I was led to believe in the next ORTS release a major update of camera views is in order. I hope so?
How do you in ORTS go down the train line car by car like we did in MSTS?

You can change to view to other cars now with Alt-PgUp/Alt-PgDn
