Hi everyone,

I just found out that the L-Button to switch on the light is not working anymore.
Alas I can't tell from which version onwards.

The error occurs when it's night and when the train is inside a tunnel.
Here the Cab switches into the Night-Cab as it should and by pressing the L-Button you could switch on the bright "Day"-Cab.
This latter does not work anymore.
If the Cab is equipped with a Cablight, pressing the L-Button still activates the Cablight as designed.

Hope there's some time to look into this.

All the Best
Boris

Hi Carlo,

is this really connected?
With the L-Button I either force OR to show the entire Cablight or the entire regular day items.
The a.m. patch only handles missing items in the Night-Folder.

It still works during daytime, when the Day-Cab is "dimmed" because of bad weather and pressing L makes the Cab a bit brighter again.

Bests
Boris

Boris,
maybe I have found a solution. If the CabLight directory is present, OR behaves as it does now. If the CabLight directory isn't present, OR uses the day textures when cab light is selected with the L key.
Here the modified runactivities for x.4136. Pls. test them and report if this can be a satisfying solution.

If you have a "night" cabview, you must have a dictory "cablight" too for properly working of the L key.

Since couple weeks i see this too with cabviews with only a "night" dictory. I have made a dictory "cablight" and past textures of the normal cabview.

and it works back.

Hi Carlo,

sorry, I was away a couple of days.
I will test your patch this evening and come back.

Hi Carlo,

just tested your patch and everything is perfect now.

- Cab with Nightcab only: pressing 'L' activates the Day-Cab
- Cab with Cablight: pressing 'L' activates the Cablight
- Both variants have a slightly dimmed Day-Cab during rain/overcast sky and pressing 'L' activates the "bright" Day-Cab

Thanks for digging further !!!
All the Best
