Hey guys I thought it would be fun to do some side by side comparison shots of how MSTS used to look versus how it looks now with open rails, more detailed routes, locomotives, rolling stock.. Stuff like that. Here is my shot. This is a side by side shot comparison of the DEFAULT MSTS NEC crossing of the Anacostia River and the other shot is the same location, on a new NEC, in Open Rails.

So you are comparing two different things:
1. Default NEC to New NEC?
2. MSTS to Open Rails?

It's kind of tough to compare two completely different things especially when it's a different scene?
