hi SetiRich,
i had the same problem.
i have all of msts and open rails on a seagate backup drive "e"
all i did was reinstall open rails 1.2 right over the existing open rails file in the drive.
it worked. the update applied.
hope that helps.

4075 only changes an internal file for a future use. So last functional changes are in 4074.

Ah, yeah, this is a glitch in the build, where it took the version of the "Source" directory for one piece of data (the program's version) and the parent directory for another (the update check) and because the last change was to something not in the "Source" directory the two versions did not match (4074 for the "Source" directory vs 4075 for the parent).

I've fixed the build in X4076 so this won't happen again, and manually down-graded the version in the update check so it should stop thinking there's a new version when there isn't.

I have a similar problem, 4079 keeps telling me that it's 4074 and that I can upgrade to 4079. I deleted the installed build and re-downloaded 4079, to the same result.

Same problem with X4079. Moreover, OpenRailsLog.txt is now, unactualized when a new activity is launched.
Cheers,
Jean-Paul

Forgot to say that opening a new activity doesn't make changes on report (OpenRailsLog.txt) which keeps on describing results of an activity open on Feb, 21st. It's surprising !

Jean-Paul, do you have the "logging" checkbox checked in the main menu window?

BTW I updated from 4077 to 4079 with no problems.

Hi, Carlos !
I think you found the origin of the problem ! This checkbox was unchecked, probably because a wrong typing (I didn't do it of my own)
Many thanks again !
