Compendium of TSRE procedures

I have begun to learn TSRE and am mainly using it to align object to the track at the
moment. The instructions that Goku has provided are good, but also rather sketchy, so
I would propose that as we learn things about it, could we have a reserved or designated
forum where these instructions could be posted, preferably with linked .pdf files, or
.pdf files in the file library which could be used to expand on instructions in the
material that Goku has provided.
I'm not thinking of having myself or some other sit down and write an instruction manual,
but rather all of us using it provide tip/tricks/instructions in a single reserved space
so that they can be gather for use by all.

Yes, Chris, I saw that - I spend a lot more time on TS than here, and while what Vince is doing
there is valuable, it is not organized, and skips around quite a bit. I was suggesting a more
organized compendium, which in large part might be a cut/paste of Chris' work plus more
explanation.

Getting a proper compass into TSRE, would be a good start to getting this happening.

I have played a bit with TSRE5 but find it not to intuitive to use but find its documentation to diffused which makes it difficult to get a clear picture on its use. While one can post a question on this board, there's a good likely hood that it will be the 30th time the question has been asked (and a web search does not always get the answer).

That is an excellent suggestion :)
It will help those of us who would like to create a route using TSRE5, but are unsure how to start. It'd be great if such a route included the use of DEM data and Distant Mountains (if the latter can be created in the current version of TSRE5!)
