Yes that is my thought as well Peter! I will be doing some more testing tonight to see how some of the locomotives perform. My issue was before was that I had the throttle up at 100% and it seems with bigger steamers no matter where the cutoff is set on the reverser it goes through a lot more coal when the throttle is wide open vs 75% to 85%. I am still waiting to hear back from a couple of the 261 crew members to see what I can find out and once I get the proper specs for the 261 we should be able to use that as a base model for a bigger USA Steam Locomotive. Its a 4-8-4 so its kind of on the bigger end but in the middle at the same time when it comes to USA Steamers. However it is the largest COAL BURNING Steam Locomotive in the world still running.
