Yes, I know I can just hook the TV to the video out of the machine, but that would not be the solution I could live with 'permanently'. Since all my servers are in a central location within the house (6 machines, all network and router devices, plus several UPS for power filter & keeping things up when the power goes down...). What I'd like to do is to send the signal via network cable (CAT 6A) from the central tower to any machine in the house. I'm in a condo while they finish the re-build of my house, and I've got cable & CAT6A run to all 4 places where we'll have a TV.
Anyone got any ideas on how to do that?

nVidia has some sort of streaming software they promote to gamers. Might that be something worth investigating?

Sounds like you want something like HDMI over UTP or HDMI over LAN.

YES! Perfect Jovet. That will do it just fine for me. Ha! Great stuff. Now I just have to solve the problem of 'keyboard & mouse over IP" and it will be the...cats pajamas.

Those solutions are out there, too! Been several years since I've seen any so I'm a bit out of the loup, but search for "KVM UTP" or the like should find you some options.
