You want just the way it is? Right now? I was thinking about sending it to the resource library one piece at a time. Over several years.

Allen,

That's OK. What ever you think is best. I'm running NALW equipment right now on Marc's Sherman Hill just as reference.
And Yes, I know well what your definition of acceptable is. Take your time, maybe a beta version?

Paul that isn't even a UP FEF northern. That is a ATSF Northen. Big difference in appearance between the two.

Well I changed it and it worked but now I just need to do that to all of them and then change my SMS files because my chuffing sounds are now off and are slower then the wheels turn.

Brandon,

Changing the animation setting in the .s file like shown earlier to "16 60" is indeed the right way to go... This is the animation setting that is required to allow for the correct wheel rotation speed in Open Rails when the correct prototype wheel radius in entered in the .eng file. Being able to use the correct prototype value in the .eng file is necessary since as I understand it, it will have a direct effect on calculating the performance correctly. The wheel radius determines the number of piston strokes for a given locomotive speed, and therefore the steam consumption - so deviating from the correct prototype value can cause the performance to be off also.

Just curious but why is a change in the .s necessary in the first place. Is there a problem with the way the model was animated? Or is OR not doing something right?

Depends on the model. Same applies to MSTS so it is not an OR bug.

I think it depends on the 'export' process. 3DC will export incorrectly occasionally. I'll have to into my .s file to correct it before release.
