I don't know exactly how to describe this problem. But, I tried downloading a new steam locomotive, and as usual, I didn't worry if it was MSTS or OR compatible. Though, it says MSTS engines work with OR. But, I had doubts when this problem uprooted itself. I don't know if it is wheelspin, or not.

Any thoughts?

Hard to tell what that is, nothing looks out of place. If you did have wheelspin you get a message in the HUD.

Hello,

In HUD you can get 3 messages in case wheelspin

* Wheelslipwarning
* Wheelslip
* Wheelskid

In steeringwagons you see onley wheelslip of locomotive that push in HUD, cabviewdisplay dont work.

Prevous week i was looking in the code for fix that or make a wheelslip_ALL display that show wheelslip if it is in HUD visible.

But no succes for moment. I'am not a PRO in that way.

Wheelskid kan jou have if you braking and have reostatic wheelslip.

HUD window is on this moment the best channel for see wheelslip

There is no way to fix that issue unless you go into the S file and rename the Wheels. I know exactly what it is and how to fix it and have been able to fix it on my model of the locomotive. I have known about the issue for some time now and its an original Mike Knott model but he has gotten out of modeling and deleated all of his work off his PC. I have a few of his projects in TSM format that I will be finishing up eventually since I have his permission to upload them. I am also the one that did the sounds for that model as well and will be putting an Open Rails Update to the 4449 once I fix it up to be all Open Rails with a new Eng file and maybe some new sound files as well.

I take it you made it?

Personally, the sounds are perfect. And if I went into the S file, what would I need to rename?

So how I did it is he had them all numbered 4.1-4.8 so I just renumbered them 0-7 instead without the . in there because Open Rails does not like having them as . for some odd reason.

Is it possible if you just send me a copy of the .s file.

I could rename, but I don't think I want to do it, and then screw up, restart by redownloading the entire trainset to get the S file once again, and so on.

This happens with both Notepad and WordPad too. https://gyazo.com/65...a96a79821fc9973

You need to decompress the S file to get it into a readable state. Shape File manager can do ths, so can Archibald.

Simply make a copy of the file before you modify it!
