Hello everyone,
I tried the activity where the player's train will connect the cars and take them to the freight track and disconnect them. The connection of the cars is no problem and the buzzers are displayed as they are connected. But once the cars are imported to the desired track, the message about the completed task is displayed immediately. It does not wait until I leave my cars. This is definitely an OR error.
Please try and fix it.

Its been a while since I have worked with MSTS activities, but do you know if MSTS leaves the completed message after the car is disconnected. Not before. Keeping in mind this is for dropping cars off at location.

Hi,
MSTS has different actions related to handling cars. One is to take the train to a certain place, the other is to build a train and another one to disconnect the particular cars in that position. It seems to me that it's just mixed in the OR, or just a copy of the same.
MSTS will display the message just after disconnecting the right cars. Not before.

Please check X3957. The completion of the dropping off of the cars at the location will now show as completed once disconnected from player train. I tested only one activity so please check your activities and let me know if there are any issues.

Hi Mr. Edward,
I tried it and it seems to work. Good work.

I have come across another mismatch against the MSTS. If I create an event to build a train, the MSTS does not play the role of plugging cars from front or back. Once the locomotive is disconnected, it will always display a train build report. Unfortunately, in the OR, it's up to the cars to see whether the loco is the first or last one.
Could you please enable both directions for building the train as it is in MSTS?

Is this pertaining to the building of the train in a specific order? When it comes to how the cars are processed by OR, there is not much that can be done.

I may just be obstreperous and cranky today, but will we ever get past the MSTS half-baked game mentality of getting a checkmark when we've done something. Just gimme a workorder, perhaps tell me who needs a pickup or delivery first so I don't piss off a customer, and let me do figure out how to do the job. Geeze.

I know, I know - tempest in a teapot.

I will try to outline the situation ...
We have a locomotive and three cars. We have to build train 1+2+3 on a track.

If loco+1+2+3 then a message is displayed after disconnection. That is right.

But if 1+2+3+loco then the message will not be displayed after disconnection, even if the order of the cars is still the same.

Can you please fix it?

It is not solved. It's probably not that easy. The OR probably has a specific train assembly detection system.
