Hello community
A question about the Timetable-editor:
Could someone explain to me why a consist with small/large-symbols appears?
Example: <RABDe560+2PW> instead of RABDe+2PW.
Thank you!

As the consist definition uses '+' and '$' as command qualifiers, consist names which contain these characters would lead to errors.
To avoid this, such names must be enclosed by '<' and '>'.

This is what the manual says :

Consist strings which contain ‘+’ or ‘$’ can be used in timetables but must be enclosed by < >.
For instance :
<loco+wagon>+<$loco+wagon>$reverse

Thank you so much, Rob. I missed the entry in the manual.

In this video shown change of locomotives for service by using $detach and $attach commands:
https://youtu.be/SaDhaUFUHLw
The starting point of "formed" loco that detaches from the train and the end point of attaching loco are the same, of course, but in the other side of their PATHes, locomotives has also the same start/end points. At middle of PATHes there place, when there are diverges.
I set $wait=<detached loco>/notstarted command at #note row because there are no locations on their ways. All services at the video are AI.
The problem is that when I starting at time before the action - it works perfectly (see video). But if I starting at time that after this moment - all the act is "stuck":

The loco with $wait=<detached loco>/notstarted command does not waiting as on the video and entering to the location before the detached one is leaving.

Rather than depending on the $wait command which depends on timing and path matches, you can use the $activate / $activated command combination.

For the attaching loco, set $activated as command in the #start field (e.g. 10:26 $activated).
For the detaching loco which moves away, set $activate=<attaching loco> either in the #note field or in the #dispose field.
When set in the #note field, the attaching engine will be activated at the moment the detaching loco starts to move away.
When set in the #dispose field, the attaching engine will be activated at the moment the detaching loco has reached its end position.

Note that $activated command cannot be used when the attaching engine originates in a pool. If that is the case, you should send the attaching loco from the pool to a siding as first move, there let it form into a second move and set the $activated command for this second move.

Examples for the $activate / $activated command combination can be found in the demo timetable for the Springfield route which is available somewhere here at Elvas Tower.

Unfortunately, I have not the route.
I'm creating all the rolling stock at start of the day - close to the midnight. Now I've in start field: <03:47 $create = 00:01>. As I understand, that the syntax must to be in this situation <00:01 $activated> . Is this correct?

Nope, it need to be "03:47 $create=00:01 $activated".
By the way, to check on that example timetable you don't need the route, it's just about how these commands are used.

I had time to test <00:01 $activated> and was been surprised, that is also work.

Now I inserting "03:47 $create=00:01 $activated". It is perfect.
Rob, thank you for your help!

A new question, please.
https://i.ibb.co/sHRKV70/Run-Activity-2020-05-24-04-14-25-08.png
Train 17 (seen on the picture) has blocked by train 40 that following train 17. Train 17 - locomotive that pickups a static train at location and moved at reverse direction on it's path. After the switch, where 17 is blocked each of the trains has it's own path and they do not have common points. Train 40 is on station stop waiting for block been cleared by 17.
Can I solve this problem without split train 40 or change of the service paths?

Add:
$hold command is set per location, where $pickup takes place
