Ah yes . . . I should have said in place of 'latest level' to just "version 0.6911"

Ok, I have the same problem, and I admit to being very green and new to this editor. My view is different to that shown, as I have version V0.6957 and I found Gaps: Remove All Gaps, under Draw:, which is under Water: on the left side. It did nothing. :-( I am using this to edit a route used in Open Rails (Zig Zag of Lithgow NSW). Any clue how to remove my mistake would be appreciated.

Try this.

F1 to get into object mode.
Click on "Select" in the RH window
Click on the tile you want to remove gaps from, the tile should now be outlined in blue
In the LH window beside Gaps there is a "Remove All Gaps" button. Close your eyes and click on it.

Phew, thank you, that worked. Obviously a big learning curve here but well worth it.

Glad it worked for you. There is a lot to learn, not much of it documented, but there is usually someone on the forums who knows how to do it.
