Hi Dave,
Select patch (terrain) then in properties press [Remove All Gaps] button.

Except the properties window doesn't show up... until it does.. oh, wait, it's gone again.
Not for terrain.

The only thing Show/H tile does is hide the terrain... no toggle, o undo.
No undo on many functions... UI from hell... this editor is a real piece of work.

There is only one properties window. You select terrain just like all other objects - press E and left click.
Undo for terrain works only for heightMap file (_y.raw). .t file and _f.raw is not yet supported in undo.

Also, I see you don't use latest version. 0.69 is ok, but look what's new:
- experimental support for walking humans
- fix for placing steep tracks
- signal subobjects are now visible only if enabled
- shape animations
- auto tile and terrain generation
- fixed bug when app sometimes crashes on ctrl+v
- terrain .t file save fix
- new context right click menu for selected objects
- fixed speedpost null texture bug.
- more track elevation values.

Dave,
I didn't notice you were using a down level release. I am using the latest version 0.6911. Note version at upper left of the window title bar.
I left click on the terrain patch and get a blue border surrounding the patch and the properties window shows as illustrated here in the screen grab. TerrainProperties (Custom).jpg (140.21K)
Number of downloads: 5
Frustration is what I had until I decided to dive in and mod the PRR-East Philadelphia area. I have found it took me about 2 months+ to get comfortable with the editor. There is still work to be done and improvements will come if you report bugs as you find them.
regards,
vince

And how does one find the latest version of the editor? The link I have shows a page with what appears to be an unsorted list. Check the date of every entry??
