This concerns passenger trains in activity mode. The AI trains stop point at stations is set, as a general rule for activity mode, at the center of the platform, which is reasonable. However this is not realistic at terminal stations, especially for short trains, which stop far from the terminal buffer.
With x.3944 OR recognizes terminal stations (or better terminal tracks) and lets stop AI trains near the terminal buffer, leaving unaltered the stop point for other stations. This works also if the AI train stops and restarts again from the terminal station.

To avoid confusion : this applies to activity mode only.
In timetable mode, this could allready be done using the $terminal qualifier, either set per station or per train (the latter for instance in case of bay platforms).

True Rob, I've written in the first sentence that this concerns activity mode. Unfortunately in activity mode I can't add flags here and there as it is possible in timetable mode, so I had to find another solution...
