Hello, I'm new here but not new to Open Rails and MSTS.
I'm trying using TSRE5 to create a new Route, I have to admit that is a really good Software, much better then the old Route Editor, but it's hard to figure out different functionality (probably there are keys to press but I'm totally unaware of it).
I've some dubt about the Gantry placement. Since in the old Route Editor there were a function that put automatically the Gantry, in TSRE5 it seems that is not present.
I know that is still a Work in Progress software, and is still far to be the perfect anti Route Editor, but actually there is no option to put the Gantry automatically?
Someone has used TSRE5 to create a Route? What is the best solution to place the Gantry?
Thank you.

I use auto placement function.
You can use them to place anything like OHE Poles, trees, bushes.

Thanks for your answer Sumit. I'm managing with this function, is pretty good, but how can I place an object and teach the TSRE5 to autoplace the same object every X meters? Is working like this?

I hope these simple steps can help you.
1. Consider a 2x2x2 unit Cube shape file and I want to place it at an offset of 5m away from the track at every 5m apart.
2. I will select the cube from select menu above and will enter the value 5 in X and leave rest Y and Z zero.
3. I will enter 5m here in the space next to Auto placement.
4. If I want to auto place in Tracks, I will choose target Tracks. Other target is roads and both.
5. I will click on the track in world viewer, and it will place the object.
6. If I don't feel satisfied with placement, I click on Delete last place objects.
7. If I use stick to track, auto place will not consider the value of offset and it will place everything on Tracks.
8. Rotate offset is to set angles to rotate the shape file in three mutually perpendicular planes.
And I think the delete last placed objects can undo auto placement only one time, Please cross check it.
