I went looking for sawmill sounds a while ago and found there are literally thousands of sound clips of all types that really add to the immersion and ambience of a route. It took a while to find ones that were long enough that the looping was not obvious and some sounds that sound good at first get boring or obnoxious when looped. so you have to be careful
but it is fun to add that type of realism and i had found it a big plus when making mods for Oblivion and other 3D world games that have nice world detail.

I've been trying to record some ambient sounds around here and have had some success, mostly with sounds that are more rural in nature, since that's where I live. I certainly wouldn't mind some sawmill sounds, either, since I will have one or two in a route project of mine
