Craig, as a matter of fact, the Noel T. Howard book, "Milwaukee Electrics" is on ebay right now, along with a couple other books. Just go to transportation/railroadiana and do a search for Milwaukee Road. I tried to go get the direct links for these, but the web is loading like molasses.... :( (It took me alot longer to just post this reply than normal.)

I wonder what the difference is between the first edition (the book at eBay) and the "revised" edition being sold at store?

I don't know content-wise, but first editions are always worth more on the book market. The revised edition may have more photos, or corrections, but the quality of the paper, printing, or binding may be less than the originals. But the book is put out by N.J. International which has made some fine tomes.
