I noticed the following on my OR screen and this error message when double clicking on Updater in my OR folder: "Error: System.IO.InvalidDataException: Last update check failed". My internet connection has been wonky the last few days and I'm wondering if that was the problem?!? This is the info in my Updater configuration settings file at the moment:

I'm still getting the same message even after my internet has returned to normal..


Not sure if that's any help..........any ideas?

It could be, or it could have been a temporary problem with our servers (it happens).

The update check is normally performed just once per day, even if you open Open Rails many times and even if it fails. You can force it to try again the same day by opening Options and clicking OK (no need to change anything). If you are still having problems the following day, or after opening Options, we'll investigate further.

It happens to me quite often, I go into updater under options and switch from unstable to one of the others. Close out of options and look at the upper right corner and see if failed has cleared. Then go back in and change back to unstable and things are back to normal. Hope this might help,
