I don't agree.

Of course, we want to make development attractive to both current and potential developers, but that's a reason for changing to more recent and more capable technology and taking advantage of the improvements Microsoft has made. Pleased to say that the changeover was pretty seamless for me - Microsoft did well. Hope it was for you too.
