Hello everyone,

I was wondering if is there anyone who had problems with the ballast texture fading in OR? I just realized it when I played on the MILW Idaho sub. From a certain angle fading shows up, but mostly missing. Fading is fine in MSTS everywhere.

I tried on MILW RMD-East and the problem is the same. I guess other routes should act like this.

I can only confirm that I also have this problem, indeed on both RMD routes.
I'm already used to it, but I do not see a solution for this?
So if someone has a solution, I'd love to hear that too ...

Isn't that problem just with the Milwaukee routes ? Aren't those the routes that use transfers under the roadbed ? I've always had trouble with the track aces and trackbed on those routes and have had to modify them . I just figured that everyone else was doing the same . Maybe I'm wrong about the problem but I've always fixed them to suit my own preferences anyways .
I never complain about a route that is put up for everyone to use so maybe that's why the same problem has never been brought to the creators attention .

There is a texture pack on ts that fixes this, search the file library for "Open Rails - Track Textures for RMD Routes". I had to run the ace files through remipit to get rid of excessive shimmering.

Thank You for the answers! The fix You mentioned works well, however it's not fading like in MSTS... but it'll do :)

The strange thing is RMD track textures fading in OR correctly on the default NEC route... So the problem is not just the textures.
