This blueprint describes the proposal to introduce restart delays in timetable mode :
Restart delays

This feature is introduced in timetable mode only because it is not possible to add the required additional option parameters to activity definitions.

The proposed default values are (values in seconds) :
  • At start : fixed part = 0, variable part = 10
  • At path restart (signal, blocked path, reversal etc.) : fixed part = 1, variable part = 10
  • When following behind a train which itself restarts : fixed part = 30, variable part = 10
  • Station stop : fixed part = 0, variable part = 15
  • After attaching : fixed part = 30, variable part = 30 (this reflects required brake test)
  • After detaching : fixed part = 5, variable part = 20

Default valud for additional delay on reversing is 0.5 sec/m - so a 200m. long train will take 100 secs. to reverse.

All settings can be overruled per train.

Regards,
Rob Roeterdink
