Hello,

The system of MSTS & ORTS for sideviews is different, in this case i have test with more sideviews of it was possible to have more sideview,

after testing and look how ORTS the sideviews read, i have found how it must, and i'am very happy with it:

:sign_thanks:

How it must in the CVF file:

SIMISA@@@@@@@@@@JINX0h0t______

Tr_CabViewFile (
CabViewType ( 1 )
CabViewFile ( HLE2603-FRONT.ace )
CabViewWindow ( 0 0 640 480 )
CabViewWindowFile ( HLE2603-FRONT.ace )
Position ( -0.6 3 7.5 )
Direction ( 15 0 0 )
CabViewFile ( "HLE2603-LEFT1.ace" )
CabViewWindow ( 0 0 640 480 )
CabViewWindowFile ( "HLE2603-LEFT1" )
Position ( -0.6 3 7.5 )
Direction ( 0 -50 0 )
CabViewFile ( "HLE2603-LEFT2.ace" )
CabViewWindow ( 0 0 640 480 )
CabViewWindowFile ( "HLE2603-LEFT2" )
Position ( -0.6 3 7.5 )
Direction ( 5 -90 0 )
CabViewFile ( "HLE2603-LEFT3.ace" )
CabViewWindow ( 0 0 640 480 )
CabViewWindowFile ( "HLE2603-LEFT3.ace" )
Position ( -1.0 3 5.5 )
Direction ( 12 -200 2 )
CabViewFile ( "HLE2603-RIGHT3.ace" )
CabViewWindow ( 0 0 640 480 )
CabViewWindowFile ( "HLE2603-RIGHT3" )
Position ( -0.6 3 7.5 )
Direction ( 15 -180 0 )
CabViewFile ( "HLE2603-RIGHT2.ace" )
CabViewWindow ( 0 0 640 480 )
CabViewWindowFile ( "HLE2603-RIGHT2.ace" )
Position ( 0.5 3 7.5 )
Direction ( 5 90 0 )
CabViewFile ( "HLE2603-RIGHT1.ace" )
CabViewWindow ( 0 0 640 480 )
CabViewWindowFile ( "HLE2603-RIGHT1.ace" )
Position ( 0.5 3 7.5 )
Direction ( 5 50 0 )
EngineData ( HLE26 )

So it is important to start with the left sideviews, and than with the right sideviews in reverse order

It is possible to rotate 180 and 360 degrees on 2D views. And take extra views like machineroom & fuse boxes too

I'am very happy with this & that give me as cabviewcreator more opportunities

:cool3:

Greetz,

Stijn

That's really cool! Thank you for having shared that. I've immediately forwarded that to the simulation forum in my country.

Huh, now this is something that would make for some interesting uses on models. Thanks for sharing this! I had no idea this was even possible with ORTS.

Yes, i'am realy happy to with this, and i have a system in my head for setup my cabs with this

  • Drivershead left/right: 45, 90, 135, 180 degrees
  • Machineroomviews (every angle of cabroomdoors) (some locs have side corridors, or middle corridor)
  • Pics of fuses, black box, extra info...

You can see on Youtube movies what i mean, But from loc with right & left corridor in machineroom i must made movie

Regrettable is that it is not possible to animate some buttons or needles on that sideview, but this is better than nothing. :-)
