I am having trouble finding note pad or word pad on my Windows 10 system.

Why waste your time looking? Context http://www.contexteditor.org and NotePad++ https://notepad-plus-plus.org/ Have more features. Line numbers, show special characters, brackets matching and more. Both are freeware.

We used to have selection boxes labeled for NotePad, WordPad or Other for selecting a Unicode editor for ConBuilder. Since Win 10 was not consistent as to where NotePad and WordPad were stored, we had to remove the selection boxes and let the user point to the one to use. I think the different location had to do with whether it was installed as an upgrade or an original OS for the PC.

One of the things I still need to work out. Also windows 8 versions, nogt sure if WIndows 7 is in there, But like Charles said, notepad++ is far better than notepad or wordpad. It is also free and has a lot of plugins.

I have needed to update my ConBuilder for some time now but have no idea as to where to find the forum....would/could someone post the link in order for me to get to the link and update my ConBuilder?

Look in the folder where you installed ConBuilder. Locate the file named Invite.htm and open it with your Internet browser. It contains the answer to your question.

The answer is also available from the ConBuilder menu > Help > then click "Support Forum"
