I wasn't aware of this until today! So far I thought the sms sounds are referenced by names, but they are referenced in .ws and .tdb by the list index of the ttype.dat.
I've learned something today, so thank you! Decreases one "source" of bugs for me.

Hello Mr. CSantucci,

but how you can resolved when more sounds is for switch reguired? For example one for default track and second is for corridor track.

There is no good solution for that. What I have implemented is a compromise solution, which is however far better than no switch sound at all.

The sounds are working for me now, no more crashes, turned out that missing .SMS files were causing the problems. Will do some more testing now...

Hamza, are you saying that missing SMS files can cause Open Rails to crash in this instance? If so, we should fix that.

I've removed a bug, made some fine-tuning and protected against wrong ttype file numbers.
This is for me a beta version ( to be inserted in x.3770).

NOTE: deleted Autoswitchsound2.zip, because feature uploaded

Yes...., Actually, I never installed the (missing) .SMS from default routes to this route (i used for testing) and it worked fine. However, to test this track sound feature, i added required lines in TType.dat files, and game started crashing on me. Now the interesting part, I tested the route in X3696, and game crashed there too. Even though it worked correctly before I added the new ttype parameter to .dat file AND even then it was kissing the .SMS file....

So the best thing would be if you post an OpenRailsLog.txt file that you get after the crash using the standard OR version (1.2 or better the last experimental version).
