These routes, personal as they may be, do give us inspiration. I feel very recharged looking at Steve's "painterly" route. Reminds me of the wonderful arts and crafts of George Selios's Franklin & Manchester HO gauge model railroad. I've been watching videos on YT of his new layout of Pacific Northwest railroads and getting lots of ideas for scenery.

I'm also familiar with Norm Charbonneau's layout and his many videos. Great stuff!

Tim, I understand that view but it's frustrating to see screenshots of routes that far superior to payware and knowing we'll never be able to explore those beauties ourselves....sigh.

You mentioned, Norm Charbonneau, I fully agree! I even met him once at a train show. I follow his YouTube channel; always looking forward to his next release.

Given the right route and content, and you'd hardly know this had its beginnings in Microsoft Train Simulator more than twenty years ago.

HHH...absolutely not!

Thank you for sharing.

As Tim said -- it inspires us all to aim for higher realism.

Some random PRR scenes from Steven's model rail road layout .

Due to it's very small size, it's hard to avoid the same camera locations.
Despite being small in size, it's filled with an amazing amount of details.

Well, congratulations to Steven, for this layout. It's just amazing in it's execution. Are the pieces of rolling stock his, also, or from your collection, Claus?
