Hi All,
While I've been waiting for the last three months for the beta team to beta test the Conn River route I've had time to begin work on the DARv3, adding the 86 mile long Yarmouth Sub to the existing 124 miles of the DARv2 route. I've finishes the first eight mile between Annapolis Royal and Clementsport.
Southbound Train 1 crosses the 894 foot Clementsport bridge.

What wonderful shots Paul.
I am a Colorado, Rocky Mountain Narrow Gauge railroad man but these pictures certainly caught my attention. All of your work has such a great overall feel to it. Makes me wish I were right there in the scenes.
Love what you are doing. http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/wub.gif

I use to live in this area back in the 1970s, wouldn't mind moving back.

Paul,
Great route, are you planning to go all the way to Yarmouth with this version or are you going to stop at Digby?
Can't wait for the Conn River route.
Thanks,
Peter
PS: It looks like all the bridges have been removed from the lower end of the line, The one at Bear River and Waymouth North were beauties and it's sad to to see them gone.

Hi Peter,
Yes, all the way to Yarmouth in v3, them to Truro in v4. I have hallucinations of doing the Cornwallis Valley lines from Kentville to Kingsport and Weston during the early 1940s some time, that wouyld complete the entire DAR.

Hi All,
Another few miles of the DAR Yarmouth Sub completed.
DAR train 1 enters Canadian Armed Forces property at CFB Cornwallis.

You could only board or detrain ay CFB Cornwallis if you were in uniform.

9059 is about to leave Base property.

Train 1 crosses over Deep Brook.

The short siding at Deep Brook was used to spot the odd car. Before the gypsum loading facility in Handsport was built there was a gypsum loading facility here that was used in the early winter when the loading facility north of Windsor was frozen over.

Bear River and on to Digby next.
