"Addition of a buzzer before motion starts is quite easy for anyone able to manipulate .sms files. However to have a realistic effect this should be connected to a delay in start of motion of the transfertable, which requires some further coding."

The buzzer would be for both turntable and transfer tables. On the turntable a buzzer before movement and after turning the locomotive. The buzzer is to let crew know the table is going to move and to let them know the table is now lined up to the track and the loco is going to move off the table.

I've never had it before but I'll do some testing and report back. Also in the above pics the engine is still on the entry track and as you can see I have moved the transfer table over several tracks.

Can you attach the Openrailslog.txt file created during these malfunctions?

The turn table works correctly if the patch is applied or not. I'll rerun the error and post the OR file later.
Attached File  OpenRailsLog.txt (10.26K)

Sorry I had another pic but I lost it. Hope log file this helps.

I found that inserting transfer table operation was not so time-consuming, as I could use much of the turntable code.
Here is the state of the art:
https://youtu.be/B3r_DrQgdw8
I modified a standard a1t27mturntable.s into an a1t27mtransfertable.s, so forgive me the graphics. Some message must still be customised.
The operation however is there. It's a bit late for OR 1.2...

Hi Csantucci, I just rewatched the video you made and noticed the Train Notification states train near turntable. Hmm, Should that be transfer table?

I trust that just cars or wagons can ride the transfer table like you setup for the turntable coding?

Not complaining, Just nitpicking a little.

lineman,
in the logfile there is only one line that is suspect:
Warning: Replaced existing TrackSection 360 in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\DIY_Rb\Train Simulator\ROUTES\Transfertable\Openrails\TSECTION.DAT:line 2

Is your global\tsection.dat a "standard" one? Pls. check if you have two instances of TrackSection 360 in it.

Robert,
the video has been created with an early version of the transfertable pack. In the above attached files you get correct messages.
Yes, it's also possible to transfer wagons without locos.

Sorry Carlos, I had this in a mini route that had a different tsection.dat file. Replacing it with a #44 tsection.dat solved this problem. Thanks for looking into this and the transfer table works great!

How do you move wagons on and off the transfer table without a powered unit. The same would apply to turntable. You can put the unpowered unit on the table using a locomotive, but once the table has moved, no locomotive to subsequently move the car onto another track.

Selecting a static loco as new player train. Of course the startic loco must be at the right place
