It's April 19, 1937 K-36 #483 hauls a Civilian Conservation Corps train; the train departs Alamosa at 8:05 AM with 11 passenger cars and 1 caboose.

Crew: Conductor Mason, and Engineer Kellogg.

Passenger Cars:

Combines 240 and 212

Coaches: 320, 304, 300, 311, 285, 297, 321, 302, 280, and 301

Caboose 0503.

Cool! The CCC was an interesting program. There are still some CCC huts in our own and the neighboring one which housed the workers. Don't know what they did, but I'm sure our area was impoverished then.

The train goes through Rock Tunnel and rolls through Osier, meeting a eastbound freight there.
