Hi All

Trat ZSR 191 -193 is a very nice route as many other Czech/Slovakian Routes. High quality together with outstanding corresponding Rolling Stock (Language no problem with actual "Internet Translators", they make it understandable). But with that route a small problem exists:

The part of route Brekov south km 58.5 to Udavske north km 72 does not load (in both directions) and OR shuts down. Please see both OpenRailsLog's attached. It happens with explorer and activity mode.

Surprisingly with MSTS it opened without any problem.

Seems to be a sound problem in that part of the route (NOT A PROBLEM OF OPENRAILS), besides it is not finished north of Humenne to Udavske and up to Koskovce. As a simple user, unfortunately, I have no idea how to repair such problems. Perhaps it is to wait until that part is finished.

Would appreciate any input and / or help.

In that part of the route you have one or more SoundSource .sms files that have a trigger that refers to the speed (Speed_Inc_Past or Speed_Dec_Past). Apparently OR does not like that. When you have found the related .sms file(s) you could attach one here so that some developer may check why that causes a problem to OR.

Found 2 related .sms files in the SOUND folder of the route (attached as .txt files, was not possible to attach it as .sms files) . The corresponding .wav files were also there in the SOUND folder.

I hope it is not a problem to transform once more the .txt files to .sms files.

Looking more deep at Carlo´s observations, I eliminated the 2 .sms files and BINGO....OpenRails opens perfect the "Problem Part" of the route and does not shut down during total distance. Sound problems were also not noted.

Thank you Carlo, one solution is now on hand, probably not the most elegant, but it works.

I've never seen a speed trigger used in a routes SMS file before. I have similar SMS files in a route with

I could reproduce the crash. OR should be protected against this. I'll see what I can do.

Fixed in x.3672. You can re-insert the .sms files :)
