Really nice improvement! About gradients, probably would be great to have it as an option in Open Rails to choose between % and ‰. At least here in my country we use ‰ for gradient readings. Just a thought.

Sure! Then maybe Alt + F4 for the first tap option gets you the 0/00 notation?
Then add the grade ahead display as introduced here. THAT is a very nice real world engineers aid. It's looking into the future from the engineers point of view. And that's probably a good thing!

What a great simulator!

Here is an example from what i meant, i suppose all understood my point but it's good to leave examples too.
In your case if you have a gradient value such as 2.1% for me it's 21‰, 0.1% = 1‰, 1% = 10‰ etc.

A new addition to the TrackMonitor is available, that is the display of leading diverging switches, see picture

Attached Image: Switches.jpg

Differently from MSTS, OR is able to display more than one switch if it lays in the displayed distance.
Here the patch for x.3674 for testing

4/12/16: patch removed because feature now committed

The feature is now committed in x.3677. The position of the switch icon has been a bit horizontally shifted, and so in my opinion looks out better, see picture.

I did not notice them in a route w/o mileposts. Is there a dependency?

Do you present all switches on the active path or only those specified within an activity?

Here is a route without mileposts:

The leading diverging switches within the active path up to end of authority (red signal, reversal point and so on) are shown.
