The Arch-roof cars of the 8 0 0-972 Class were designed by Mr. Perley A. Thomas, being similar to the 400-class and the later 1000-Class. J.G. Brill and Perley Thomas built the cars during 1922-1924, with Brill building 76 and Thomas 97. The cars were modern and well-built, and while the 8 0 0's have nearly all been scrapped (some being sold to museums), 35 of the 900's remain in service to this day.
These two cars each have their own unique advertising "car cards" and detailed interiors, and are MSTS Bin 1.6 compatible with reversing trolley poles. When ends (cabs) are changed, the trolley poles also change direction of travel, along with the headlight and sparks. Thanks to Phil Moberg for the latter. Make sure you have the latest Bin 1.6.1022 or higher patch to guarantee correct truck rotation upon reversing ends.
