According to the documentation site:

TSRE stands for Train Sim Route Explorer, name I gave my "university homework".

5 is 5th version of this engine.

Question:

If an MSTS route is modified (such as terrtex painting) in TSRE, will it still open in MSTS' Route Editor?

Hi Andre,

I've been adding terrain using Goku's TSRE5 Geo Tools, and TriState still opens in the MSTS RE.

There is a thread at TrainSim where ORTS had an issue with some tiles not being painted with .ace files, and I would expect that to carry over to the MSTS RE.

sometimes. Remember, windows is a service, not an operating system.
