"Circuit breaker" for electric locomotives

Hi all, this came into my mind when it is about more realism.
Just wondering if this option could be possible to achieve. I am referring if there could be a way to simulate the main circuit breaker in order to turn on and off the locomotive with the pantograph up. One of the main reasons is to simulate neutral areas from the catenary where it is necessary to cut off power without the need of lowering the pantograph.
A few examples what i am talking about.

Excuses in case this was discussed before.

Its implemented since long time, as you can see on the HUD. But it does not have user control yet, its automatic.

Pardon me, but you seem to have misunderstood what @NF1-800 intended to say. Currently you cannot turn the circuit breaker OFF without lowering the pantograph. In real world when the locomotive passes through a neutral section the driver only turns OFF the circuit breaker switch (On Indian Railway the switch is called BLDJ). Such a kind of functionality would be great to have in OpenRails...

I think implementing a keyboard command for circuit breaker on/off in electric locomotives is possible. The same keys used to switch on and off motors in the diesel engines could be used. I'll add an item in Trello for that.

It would be awesome but i am thinking how would this synchronize with the triggers in the sms file?

I would also like to see this implemented, but is it possible to make it optional in the experimental window as this would require some extra editing of sounds in the background in order to have them synchronise with the animation.I'm saying this because I've noticed that most of the loco's I have encountered already have the sound of the pantograph and the sound of the circuit breaker integrated in the same wav file and vice versa and this new feature would require the end user to do some extra tweaking. For me it's not necessarily a problem as I'm an advanced user but for the sake of compatibility with older models it would be great to have this at least optional as an alternative for experienced users only.Thank you :)
