Then again, I tested with the Czech Install I have and I got the error again.
Maybe it does have to do with a piece of rolling stock... I need to have a look into it.

Consists containing a "#" character in their name are still not displaying the loco.

It DOES NOT work!
Followed instructions in Post #1:
1. Downloaded and unzipped to HD.
2. Edited settings.txt and set path to your MSTS/OR routes/trains directory:
gameRoot = F:/train simulator changed to A:/1MSTS
3. Ran Con Editor.bat
Here is results: CE is empty.
Why is CE looking for "F:/Train Simulator/trains/trainset/PKP-ST44-992/PKP-ST44-992.eng"?
There is no folder F:/Train Simulator on my PC. I have NO PKP engines on my PC.

It was eng used for test my shape viewer. It does nothing. I forgot to delete this line :)
IS A:/1MSTS msts root directory? It looks like it is wrong path or my app has no access to it.

This editor works OK for me so far, but does stop and fail with the default kiha140.con

When you downloaded this file? Maybe you use older version. Download again.

Charles, is it possible you should be entering "A:/1MSTS/Train Simulator" and not "A:/1MSTS"?
