But I think that this is a bug in the OR because the lights are well set. It is more the mistakes eg. Measure the distance if you go in one direction but added soon go to the second station and going back so it subtracts km.

Regarding the lights I'll have to see the screen :-)

In fact it seems that the light state is not passed from one computer to the other. There is the code for that, so I'll try to check.

Ok, it's a pity. But can you modify the last ORTS version for our? We needed for autoopen to all signals by scripts. We agree with special version, not in common base. Please, only unblock the signals before junctions. Thank you!

A question: are such signals blocked in explore mode also when in single player mode?


To Howky: with x.3560 a first fix with the lights problem has been uploaded. Now changes of state of lights are passed to other players (it wasn't before). There is however still the problem that the forward/reverse change of lights is not managed. I'll try to find a solution also for that.

Now I have tested this. In single mode all signal before train are opened. But only if has a train line in dispatcher window. We need to open to all signals (no watch for lines in multiplayer mode), if no train and no wrong junctions after them. Can not autoswitch (in single mode is autoswitch, but i known - this is single player, this is right; but in multiplayer mode this is not correct, because the dispatcher can create the other route). Dispatcher will can watch the fully worked route for train in any route position, and can close any signal by manual signal states or with wrong junctions.

With x.3562 another step for correct remote transmission of light states has been uploaded. Now switching from front to rear cab switches lights also remotely.
Still missing is management of AI trains and remote initialization of light states when a train changes light state before another player enters game.
The actual state should allow to exchange a "hello" by switching on and off lights when two remote trains meet.

With x.3565 the initial state of lights and front cab/rear cab is passed to other players in multiplayer mode.

Manual control of lights is not in my program. Maybe this could be done by someone when the scripting features will be increased.

And it worked as it should.
