Hat's off for this improvement :) but i think, at least from my point of view, that the hunting is a bit too violent for the 1st level.
If the hunting for the 1st level would be just a little tweaked to be less violent it would be wonderful :). I hope i am not asking too much, it's just what my eyes are "saying". In other words i congratulate OR Team for the time and effort!
Cheers!

Hi guys,
I'm afraid I've got to agree to this: "If the hunting for the 1st level would be just a little tweaked to be less violent it would be wonderful". You can always set shaking to a higher value if you like driving at earthquake (sorry).
Regards,
Mirek

Important is this , that we have this option. In time that will be improved. OR team is very good in improvments so we don't have to be worry about. Right now this track type shaking is great. Just like on real life. Switch we have bump, curve we have horizontal shake. Our job is testing that option and write a useful opinnion about it :)

Got it:
It's time acceleration, which causes the earthquake! It seems to me that if time is accelerated the amplitude of the shaking movement rises. (Just try to accelerate too much and you'll see things :-)).
If you drive at normal speed the shaking movement is smooth and very nice even at level 1.
Thanks, and please take my apologies,
Mirek

Mirek same things are happening with gyro lights. It's typpical for time acceleration.

This shaking and bouncing moves are really cool. I would say that this is the best "track unevenness" effect I have ever seen in any train simulator. Thank you Open Rails developers.

I've made some tests again and i also will have to apologize for the fast feedback without thinking twice.
The behaviour is indeed alright. Probably i got tricked by the fact that the camera is fixed on the tender in my case which gives the impression of not hunting, when it actually does and amplifies (visually) altogether with the locomotive and cars. While running the tests i noticed that the frame hunting is independent from the bogie hunting which is pretty nice. I also made a forced stop and the frame continued to balance itself smoothly to static. Maybe not locking the camera when viewing from external view 2 and 3 would be an idea.

Nice improvement an addition but can there be special individual parameters for levels of springiness? Mainly a disable parameter is needed for certain stock since some twist an shake like they derailed like the center trailer of TTEX Long Runners and end of train devices because of there short length if anyone has tried an seen what I mean.
